These are from our most recent trip in May 2022 – not much has changed besides a BBQ roadside shack is currently opened and they don’t welcome lookers or photographers, even the most respectful and kind ones. My daughter got scolded that there was someone living in the camper on the property and not to disturb them. My daughter politely walked over and apologized and said she didn’t cause any harm etc yet he still was very mean. Usually I would approach and offer the person $20 or whatever for the photos – but this guy looked like he was going for his shotgun (half laugh). Some of these places should just have a deposit box/donation box since so many people are interested in these types of places, and these types of places are disappearing fast – it would be a win/win.
